Christ the Servant Church, Abbey Meads
We are a group of about 30 Christians who meet on a regular basis to worship God together. As Abbey Meads is a new build, we are a relatively young church, moving into our church building in the year 2000. The age range is mostly younger, and the worship is informal, drawing from the Baptist, Methodist and URC traditions, as well as Anglican and Catholic. To reach out to this new community we have run consecutive Alpha courses, which have been very successful. The Bible Explorer is used in the schools which helps with the community involvement, and we are just starting a Friendship Café on a Wednesday lunch time.
