Westlea
Westlea Church is in the West Swindon and The Lydiards Partnership of churches.
The Westlea Church meets every Sunday in Westlea Primary School in the heart of this housing development created about 30 years ago to the west of the town of Swindon. It is a community of people worshipping in Westlea who believe in God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit as revealed in the Bible, and who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. The trustees of the church are the members, and the members are followers of Jesus Christ who wish to commit themselves to the life of the local church in Westlea and Eastleaze. As they do not own a church building, most meetings are in members’ homes. There are prayer meetings, walks, social activities and Messy Church. The membership of the church is involved in all activities within the church and many activities within the Partnership. The partnership is supported by the parent bodies, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Church.
